2016 has been a year of many shocks, however, markets seem to have navigated these potential concerns with less damage than expected. Hartwig Kos, an investor for SYZ Asset Management shares his thoughts in the Financial Times, highlighting that investors have tended to stay out of Europe, due to political uncertainty in 2017, particularly the elections in France, the Netherlands and later in Germany.
