Investors hung out to dry as erratic Trump fails to deliver

Mark Sherlock, manager of the US SMID fund at Hermes Investment Management, says that US companies will withstand the impact of Trump. Sherlock says that although confidence is slipping due to President Trump’s inability to pass promised legislation there is still reason to be optimistic for domestically focused stocks, particularly as tax reform and deregulation still look likely, even if they take longer to achieve.
