ECB’s Draghi faces challenge in putting the brakes on the euro

Ahead of the European Central Bank monetary policy meeting, Hartwig Kos, co-head of multi-asset at SYZ Asset Management, believes a dovish tapering of rates would impact the euro in the short-term, but not significantly. He also notes in the Financial Times that with a high US dollar, “there is potential for Draghi to be marginally more hawkish than the consensus would expect”.
